Accurate chose a system from the Mitsubishi Electric VRF City Multi range utilising an R2 heat recovery outdoor unit providing up to 28.7 kw heating capacity and 26.6 kw cooling capacity. Four, two way concealed indoor cassettes and two wall mounted units were connected to the system via a six way BC controller.
Why Heat Recovery?
The flexibility and efficiency of the City Multi R2 system were key factors in the design process, with cellular offices being constructed in the office space the ability to provide simultaneous heating and cooling satisfying individual needs was paramount to the client.
Working alongside a specialist refurbishment contractor a central bulkhead was constructed within the office to conceal the services. The indoor units were recessed into the bulkhead giving a clean look and feel to the open plan space with the compact wall mounted units fitted into the cellular offices.
The chosen location for the outdoor unit was on the roof of the property, so a mobile crane was contracted in to carry out an early morning lift before the building occupiers started arriving for work.
The result of the project was a flexible air conditioning solution for the client working discreetly in the background, providing a clean and comfortable working environment.
